QGHS IS MAINTAINING MOMENTUM
Our Matric Class of 2023 brought great honour and pride to Queensburgh Girls’ School.
Once again the learners' hardwork, effort and determination bore fruits and we achieved a 98,9% pass rate with 82,2% Bachelor pass. Krisanne Lee Chendriah and Caitlyn Reece Moodley both achieved 6 distinctions each while Rebecca Meyer and Kausha Pillay both achieved 5 distinctions each.
The staff and members of the SGB would like to congratulate the class of 2023 for their excellent results. We are proud of your achievements and want to wish you all a successful journey in this new chapter of your lives.

Blanket Bring Warmth
QGHS went on a blanket collection initiative where young ladies at school were encouraged to purchase blankets and donate them to a worthy cause.
This year the Malvern Home was the chosen charity which the blankets were donated. Mrs S. Baboolall, an educator, together with a few learners from 12B were given the opportunity to deliver the blankets to the Malvern Homes. In total, 33 blankets were donated to the Homes. This was the first time the Home had ever received blankets for each child. It was indeed a heartfelt moment for the educator and learners to see the smiles of appreciation and gratitude on the faces of the children as each was gifted a warm blanket.
In addition a kind donation of 50 throws and a further 30 blankets was donated to Gods Angels, Welbedacht in Chatsworth. These were received with so much of love and appreciation by children, women and men alike.
Together we can change lives and bring warmth and love. In the words of Sir Francis Bacon, “we have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake...”
Purchase a blanket and bring joy and happiness to someone who may be in need of it.
Grade 12 Visual Arts Retrospective Exhibition
We are very proud of our grade 12 Visual Arts learners who recently had their Retrospective Exhibition. This year, due to COVID-19, we were unable to do an exhibition for our QGHS family. We however, took a few pictures and made a video compilation to share with the rest of the QGHS family. I am sure you will agree we have talented girls.
