QGHS is committed to the development of the whole person, and as such offers a comprehensive sporting and cultural programme. The term ‘culture’ covers a broad spectrum of activities. It focuses on the development of SELF in terms of creativity, development of an awareness of one’s inner life, one’s place in the community, an awareness of the environment and a sense of social responsibility. Learners have an opportunity to develop friendships in a safe and stimulating environment.

There are many cultural clubs to choose from at QGHS: Pottery, Scrapbooking, Performance Arts, Choir, Debating, Science and Geography Clubs, The Peace Club, Teenagers Against Drug Abuse, The CANSA Society, The Enviro-Club, as well as Jesus and Me (JAM),Hindu Students Association (HSA), and Muslim Students Association (MSA). The clubs are run by educators who are dedicated to the development of their learners.
