Many people get confused when they receive an invite stating smart casual. They either dress formally or too casually. Jeans may be worn with a dressy top however not with a casual t-shirt. The jeans must be a dark shade and not ripped. Joie De Vivre girls modelled appropriate smart casual wear and inappropriate wear.

Members were recently addressed by Judy Deetleef; an executive member of the Joie De Vivre Club; and Ashley an old girl of QGHS. Ashley has completed her studies in Hotel Management and is soon to take up a position in the United States in the hospitality industry.
